Martha's Apple Roses 2. Transfer to syrup; shake pan to coat slices. Place parchment directly onto surface apple mix. Cool syrup completely, 40 min. Cut slices into semicircles. Stack 1 red apple slice on top 1 golden slice, with cut edges nearest you. Wrap slices together into cone shape to form a "bud." Stack 2 more slices. Placing them slightly above base (staggered) wrap them around bud. Repeat, wrapping til rose is about 2” diameter. Make 9 roses total. Save leftover slices garnish.
